Contest Rules

Gifts do not determine the official winner

Coins and gifts support a chef and drive the on-screen hype meter. Official results come from the scoring below, unless a specific event page explicitly states that gifting counts toward the result.

Eligibility

  • Chefs must be 18+ and have an approved chef application.
  • Chefs must stream live from their own kitchen with camera and mic on for the full round.
  • Employees of Stream Sizzle and their immediate family are not eligible for cash prizes.
  • Where a prize is offered, local law governs — void where prohibited.

Battle format

  • A battle is two chefs across one or more timed rounds.
  • Each round has a published duration. When the clock expires, the round closes automatically.
  • A round result is recorded for every round; the series winner is the chef who wins the most rounds.

Scoring

  • Assigned judges score each chef on taste, presentation, creativity and challenge execution, 1–10.
  • Fan votes are one per signed-in account per round and are enforced by the database.
  • Judge scores and fan votes are combined using the weighting published on the battle page.
  • Scores are calculated server-side. Nothing in the browser can change a result.

Disqualification

Vote manipulation, alternate accounts, leaving the stream mid-round, unsafe kitchen practice, or abuse of judges or viewers can result in disqualification and forfeiture of any prize.

Prizes

Stream Sizzle battles do not currently award a cash prize. Battles are played for ranking, reputation and creator earnings from gifts — see the Refund & Payout Policy. If a prize event is ever offered, an authorised administrator must publish official rules covering eligibility, dates, location restrictions, entry method, winner selection, taxes, disputes and notification before that event is shown publicly.

Disputes

Email disputes@streamsizzle.app within 72 hours of a result. Our decision after review is final.

Prize promotions are regulated differently in each state and country. Have these rules reviewed by counsel before running a battle with a cash prize.
